VMPET Metallized Film

Aluminum Foil Composite Structure

Aluminum foil is a real metal foil layer. It usually provides stronger light shielding, oxygen barrier and moisture resistance than VMPET. It is often selected for products requiring stronger protection and longer shelf-life support.

VMPET structures are suitable for ordinary snacks, some pet food packaging, daily chemical powder products and medium-shelf-life granular products. It balances appearance, basic barrier performance and cost.

When to Choose Aluminum Foil

Aluminum foil structures are suitable for premium coffee, high-value snacks, nutritional powder, easily oxidized dry goods and products requiring stronger light and oxygen protection.

How to Choose Reasonably

Buyers should confirm three points before selecting the structure: expected shelf life, product sensitivity to oxygen or light, and budget range. For conventional products with moderate shelf-life needs, VMPET may be enough. For products requiring longer storage or stronger protection, aluminum foil is often more suitable.

The final structure should also consider storage environment, transportation distance and destination market requirements.
